Altman Automotive, Inc. is located in Freeport, Illinois. John Altman, Jr. is the President /Owner. He's been in business since 1994 and works on all domestic cars, trucks and SUVs (GM, Ford, Chrysler, Dodge and Saturn), and on most imports on the road today.

John Altman began working in gas stations since he was 15, which was in 1976. While in High School, John attended the Automotive School at Stephenson Area Career Center for 2 years and another 2 years after High School at Highland Community College. He opened his own gas station in 1982 at age 22. In 1994, when he was 33, he opened Altman Automotive, Inc.

John stays up to date with the changing technology of the automotive service and repair industry by attending numberous seminars and clinics. He's also taken many classes on the automotive business and management. His business keeps up with the equipment and information needed to work on the cars as they have changed over the years.
